The Populonia Castle (LI) Dolenska Pavla 1
After visiting the Archaeological Park of Baratti, you can climb back up the slopes of the ancient Etruscan and Roman town to discover the historical centre of Populonia, the little Medieval castle, where it seems that time has stopped.

Volterra (PI)
An ancient country town of Etruscan origin, from which an important gate has been preserved, with a historical Medieval centre. Very interesting Roman Theatre.

Massa Marittima (GR)
Originating in the Medieval Period around Monte Regio, and preserving a pleasant historical centre with a magnificent Cathedral from 1200, in Romanic-Pisan style. It was then the main centre of the area of the metalliferous hills.

Follonica (GR)
A country town of great tourist tradition, above all for the ample beaches running gently down to the sea, overlooked by an ample zone of pine woods.

Bolgheri (LI)
A village immortalized by the poems of Giosuè Carducci, situated a stone’s throw from the sea, immersed in the countryside rich with vineyards and olives. The typical centre is characterized by the red-brick castle from which the village can be accessed, from cobbled alleys and ancient stone buildings, adorned with geraniums.
