Free parking for a limited time reserved for Museum visitors is located on the side of Via Senni, adjacent to the Museum.


Ticket Office

Situated at the entrance of the Museum on the ground floor, in addition to ticket sales, it also supplies general information on the Museum and the System of the Parks.


Type of Visit

Individual and family: Admission charge, free visiting. (duration around 1 hour).
For those visitors wishing to use it, a useful support with audio-guide is foreseen.
Schools and groups: Admission charge, obligatory reservation for guided tours.For groups and schools a guided tour is advised (around 2 hours, upon reservation)


Access for the disabled

There are no architectonic barriers, although there are lifts and stairlifts for the disabled.



In the Park shop, books (specialized and popular publishing) and gifts (in particular unrefined and treated minerals for the production of small necklaces, Etruscan and Roman art reproductions and small jewels).
A section is dedicated to the texts published by the Val di Cornia Parks and to the Val di Cornia Parks logo items/gifts.

The Museo Caffè offers breakfasts, lunches and snacks and aperitifs.

From 4 to 13 September it is open at the following times:
- until 6: Friday from 4 pm to 11 pm; Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 11 pm
- until 13: from Tuesday to Sunday from 9 am to 10 pm


Conference Room

The first-floor room, equipped with an audio-video system, is available upon reservation for conventions, lessons, and cultural events (seats around 40).
